VIT Standards and Teacher Librarian Practice

See on Scoop.itThe Information Specialist’s Scoop

Compiled by the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA) and Victorian Catholic Teacher Librarians (VCTL) Working Party on VIT Standards, this document provides scenarios on each standard for teacher librarians to use as a guide when preparing for their annual review meetings (ARMs). Even though this document is based on the Victoria standards for teachers it can and does have application for other states standards. This document is available now on the ALIA Schools website. The creation of this document was originally part of the work undertaken for SIFiL [School Improvement Framework in Libraries].
